Costa Rica 2016: LEAF International Expedition

In February of 2016, I organized and led LEAF’s second International Expedition to Costa Rica, focusing primarily on the Bribri community in Amubri, Talamanca.  At the close of that trip, I continued on as a LEAF Ambassador to visit the home of LEAF’s most recent teaching artist:  Luis Salazar Quetzal.  Luis is a teaching shaman and singer in the Cabécar Indigenous preserve in the remote community of Alto Chirripo, some 20 miles from the nearest road access.  Below is the video-documentary I created summarizing our journey there and what Luis is doing in his community, a unique and unfortunately endangered part of the world.
